It is suggested that you take 15 milligrams daily.

On the flip side, swordfish, sugar, grains with too much starch, and alcohol contains ingredients that are harmful to your hair. Swordfish contain high levels of mercury in it which causes hair loss. Sugar slows the absorption of protein. Examples of grains with a lot of starch are cakes, pastries, and white pasta. Starches turn into sugar, which turns into bad health. Alcohol dehydrates you, which turns into dry hair.
